Nicole Langford brings more than 25 years of telecommunications finance expertise to the leadership role of Director of Finance and Compliance. As a member of the senior management team, Nicole guides Moruga’s business functions while ensuring the alignment of best practices with the company’s financial strategy, processes and policies.
Working closely with executive leadership, Nicole provides oversight of key accounting and finance functions, from accounts and payroll to budgeting and growth planning. She supports Moruga’s financial strategy through the development and analysis of financial reporting, all while maintaining the key context of customer value. Nicole also supports customer agreements and contracts preparation in partnership with the legal team. She has performed complex new division reviews, as Moruga builds its unique structure and culture.
Nicole sees her role as one that supports all others – ensuring her colleagues and Moruga’s clients have an effective framework that benefits both people and processes. She brings a detail-oriented approach to her work, helping to provide accurate and thorough outcomes.
Nicole holds a degree in Finance and Business Administration, starting her post-college career as an accountant who went on to earn escalating financial management positions at Enhanced Communications Inc. and Inter-Tel Technologies. She then served as Controller for Venicom for more than 15 years, performing an instrumental role in the legal and financial functions for transition from Venicom to Moruga IT in 2021.
Nicole is also a mom of two – her other full-time role.
