Kelly Brake

Chief Operating Officer

“At Moruga, the needs of our smaller customers are just as important as the needs of our larger customers. Regardless of size, we ensure you’re surrounded by an excellent team.”

Relying on operational management skills developed over more than two decades in the rapidly-evolving IT industry, Kelly brings a wealth of expertise to the leadership role of Chief Operating Officer at Moruga.

An effective communicator, Kelly guides the people and processes to achieve company-wide performance objectives and quality standards. With Moruga’s customers in mind, Kelly provides a keen focus on planning and goal-setting to streamline the coordination of daily operations, strengthen business relationships, and provide world-class service. Kelly is driven to continually review and monitor performance, yielding results that make Moruga stronger. Attaining 100 percent customer satisfaction is among her personal goals. She believes this is best achieved by fostering clear connections among engineering initiatives, technical solutions, operational priorities, and customer needs.

Kelly has previously served in senior executive roles at Venicom and NetFusion Services. She was the co-founder and vice president of a highly successful network consulting firm, InLynx, where she not only forged its strategic vision and operational goals, but also managed IT procurement; maintained critical vendor relationships; and established policies, procedures and workflows. Among her many achievements has been the design, implementation and roll out of Arizona’s first 24 x 7 managed services help desks – including a live technical team.

With a career that has spanned technology operations management, Kelly is well-positioned to apply expertise to the discipline, the products, and the industry with leading management frameworks, protocols, and processes that align with the needs of the business.

Kelly holds a degree from Arizona State University and is certified through the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), helping her to build a framework at Moruga for managing risk, building customer relations, and establishing cost-effective practices that allow for growth, scale and change.
